My Experience

My journey in Early Years education began at college, where I studied Childcare and Health & Social Care. During this time, I completed hands-on placements in nurseries and preschools, which sparked my passion for working with young children and set me on the path I’m still proudly following today.

I went on to study Childhood Studies BSc at the University of Bristol, a three-year degree that deepened my understanding of child development, learning, and wellbeing. Following this, I completed my Early Years PGCE at UWE to qualify as a teacher.

My first role after qualifying was as a Room Lead in a preschool in Bedminster, where I worked for two years. I was primarily based in the preschool room but often supported across the baby and toddler rooms when needed, giving me a broad range of experience across early developmental stages.

For the past three years, I’ve been working as a Reception Teacher in Brislington. This role has strengthened my belief that the early years are the most formative and important in a child’s life. I am passionate about creating warm, supportive environments where each child’s unique personality is nurtured, helping them flourish and reach their full potential.

My Qualifications

2014 - Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce.

2016 - Level 3 Health & Social Care.

2019 - BSc Childhood Studies.

2020 - Early Years PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

My Availability

I am available to start nannying from September 2025. I’m looking to offer Nannying 3 days during the week, as I will be doing supply teaching on the remaining days. I have not confirmed my supply days so I can be flexible on the days of the week that you may need me for now.

I can also provide tutoring 3 days or more. While my preference is to work weekdays, I can occasionally be flexible with weekend availability depending on the situation.

My Fees

• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £16 per hour for nannying which reflects my qualifications and experience. I am a qualified Early Years teacher with a PGCE in EYFS and a degree in Childhood Studies, and I have over 5 years’ experience supporting young children’s development in both nursery and school settings. My rate includes age-appropriate activities tailored to your child’s interests and needs, as well as support with routines, early learning, and emotional wellbeing. I aim to provide a warm, nurturing environment where your child can thrive.
