About Me

Caring for newborns has always been my passion; I have extensive experience looking after sick neonates but now it is time to care for the well ones!

It would be an honour to provide exceptional care for your family and your precious addition, and with my extensive knowledge and level of experience, I am confident in my ability to do so.

I am more than happy to care for baby overnight so that you can both be well rested for the day. Overall it just makes me happy to be able to support mothers and fathers through essential aspects of caring for a little one, providing assistance so that they are able to fully enjoy the feeling of new parenthood with less stress.
Additionally, I am excited about the opportunity to support you as you transition into parenthood. I understand that this can be a challenging yet rewarding stage, and I am committed to providing guidance and reassurance to help you feel confident in your new role.

Above all else your baby's child's safety and well-being. I believe that engaging in interactive play, promoting early literacy, and establishing consistent daily routines are vital for a child's growth and development. I am eager to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and joy.

My Experience

I have 7 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care nursing.

I am well versed in caring for more than 3 neonates at a time, and often do shifts at my old job which involved feeding, establishing sleep schedules, supporting parents and advocating for our tiny ones.

The majority of my nursing career has been spent in the top children's hospital in the country. I am grateful that I have been given the privilege of ensuring that every baby has the best start to life regardless of any illnesses they may be born with or develop.  My role currently includes leading the unit and advocating for our sick babies, providing expert patient care.

It also includes me being lead nurse for developmental and family integrated care, which will always be my main love. Contrary to the general consensus, it is extremely easy to communicate with babies. They provide non-verbal cues that one must be trained to understand, but once you do then it's smooth sailing! I understand that every newborn is unique, and I am passionate about nurturing their little individual personalities and developmental needs, as well as the needs of the family.
