I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse at Great Ormond Street in 1997. Having worked in the NHS for nearly 30 years, and managing a Ward, I have stepped back recently to care for my father who has recently passed. I love all animals, and regularly look after and walk several dogs. I live in Apsley, and enjoy canal walks and gardening. I am 55 years old and have been married for 20 years. I love music, travel and growing flowers and vegetables. I also love crafting, and have run a market stall with home made sewing items for the last 7 years.
My Experience
I qualified as a Paediatric Nurse at Great Ormond Street in 1997, and have worked on the International Unit ever since. I have worked with various ages and cultures, from premature babies to teenagers. I am DBS checked, and am used to all manor of conditions. I am comfortable with special needs, cerebral palsy, seizures, those on the autistic spectrum, and am delighted to work with parents to make their day a little easier. I am used to nasogastric tubes, gastrostomies, catheters, stoma bags, lines and medications.

I am a qualified Paediatric Nurse RN (Child) 1997, with a particular interest in Pain Management and Child Protection. BA Hons Social Administration, Lancaster University, 1990.
