About Me
After re-locating from London in January I now live in a 3 bed house in Baldock with my partner Jimmy and 2 cats Kitty and Gizzy. I love the outdoors and nature walks. Photography, Baking and Gardening are my favourite past times.
I'm a very sociable person and enjoy meeting with friends for catch-ups. I love meeting new people and believe a smile can certainly brighten someones day!
Being polite and courteous to each other is something I am a strong believer in. I offer a clean, secure and welcoming environment with fun, educational activities tailored to support early learning and growth.
I believe in the need to nurture children and that every child is unique. I'm passionate about supporting their individual development with patience, structure and care.
My Experience
I have 28 years experience working in both Nurseries and Primary Schools. I taught my own Nursery class of 30 children aged 3/4 for the past few years. This included planning, assessments and setting learning goals. I was also a cover HLTA for up to Year 6, for over 10 years. The school that I worked in for 23 years opened up a number of opportunities for me to further my development and I specialised in Speech and Language Support as well as working with children who are neurodiverse and have other emotional/social support needs. After moving out of London in January I started to work in a private Nursery which offers childcare from 6 months to 4 years. This has given me additional experience and an insight into working with younger children to ensure meeting all their needs.
