About Me

I am a caring, reliable, and experienced childminder who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. I provide a warm home-from-home setting where children feel valued, respected, and confident to explore and grow.
I plan fun, age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development, while encouraging independence and creativity. I understand that every child is unique, and I work closely with parents and carers to meet each child’s individual needs and routines.
The wellbeing and safety of the children in my care are always my top priority. I aim to build trusting relationships with both children and parents, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive.
We love spending time outdoors and believe children learn best through hands-on experiences. Our days often include forest school activities, nature walks, trips to local farms, and lots of outdoor exploration. Children are encouraged to discover the world around them, build confidence, and develop independence in a fun and relaxed way.
Messy play is a big part of our routine, giving children the chance to explore textures, colours, and materials freely while developing creativity and fine motor skills. I embrace getting muddy, curious, and adventurous, as outdoor and sensory play supports healthy development and a love for learning.
I provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore at their own pace, enjoy fresh air, and build positive relationships through play.
We also enjoy attending local libraries, soft play centres. These outings support children’s social development, communication skills, and confidence while giving them opportunities to explore new environments and experiences. Regular visits help children build positive relationships, develop a love of books and stories, and stay active in a fun and engaging way.
