About Me
Hello! I provide reliable evening and weekend respite/babysitting services around my other full time employment role. I am compassionate, caring and understanding of both the needs of children/young people and also the challenges parents may face. I also have a lot of patience and a good sense of humour (essential to any care profession, in my opinion!).
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of schools/nurseries, babysat for various families, provided respite care for children/teenagers with physical disabilities and worked in SEND schools with children aged 2 to 20 years.
While I no longer work full time in special education, it was a large part of my life and continues to be a big part of who I am :)
My Qualifications
Degree educated. Over 10 years experience in special education.
In my former role, I held epilepsy awareness, medication distribution, PEG feeding, suction training and paediatric first aid certificates and more.
My Availability
Weekends, evenings from 6pm. I occasionally have more flexibility on Thursdays. I have done overnight shifts before, however I prefer to discuss this with parents before committing.
I do have some flexibility with availability, which can be discussed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Dependent on needs of the child. Generally for babysitting, my fees are £10 per hour, however if your child has significant additional needs, due to the extra responsibility I charge £12 per hour.
