My Summary
About Me
Hello! I’m Lauren, a reliable and friendly babysitter with an enhanced DBS check and basic first aid training. I have hands-on experience working with children of different ages and needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), and I’m currently working part-time while completing a psychology degree focused on education and inclusion.
I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children. I can help with homework, bedtime routines, playtime activities, and light meal prep. I’m flexible, trustworthy, and happy to work evenings and weekends around my current job. Usually during the week I work only a couple days until 8, Saturdays until 6 and Sundays until 5.
Whether you need occasional babysitting or regular help, I’d love to support your family. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions!
My Experience
perience
I have experience working with children in both mainstream and special educational needs (SEN) settings. I’ve completed a psychology degree with a focus on education and inclusion, and I currently work part-time while gaining further experience in child support roles.
During my time as a teaching assistant in a primary school, I supported children aged 4–11 with a range of learning needs, including autism and speech and language difficulties. I also volunteered at a charity that supports young people with disabilities, where I helped run activities and provided 1:1 support.
These experiences have taught me how to communicate effectively with children, manage routines, and create a calm and positive environment. I’m confident working with children of all ages and abilities and always aim to build trust and understanding with both children and parents.
