About Me
My son Hughie is 6 years old. He attends primary school and is a very happy caring little boy who has integrated really well and enjoys school for the most part. Since starting primary school Hughie has really suffered with anxiety. Primary one was incredibly challenging for him but he persevered through and has really enjoyed primary two. Recently myself and his teacher has noticed that he is starting to show signs of anxiety again especially around the topic of maths. He has shown he as the ability to complete school tasks but really lacks confidence in himself around this area which is affecting his work. This has also unfortunately spilled over to his home life and he becomes very upset and worried regarding the following days maths tasks to be completed at school. I really feel having one to one time with the correct person other than myself and his teacher will help him consolidate his maths skills and build confidence.
