My Summary
Professional Nanny
About Me
Hello, parents:)
I am a warm, empathetic, and kind nanny.
My nanny approach is holistic, child led, and responsive to the individual needs of each individual child. I build trusting connections with children by being responsive to their emotional well-being and needs.
My hobbies include cooking and baking, going for long walks, visiting art galleries, and meditation.
My Experience
I have over 13 years of professional childcare experience. This includes nannying for 8 years and 6 years supporting children as an early year's practitioner in a childminding setting; rated twice 'outstanding' by Ofsted. I am experienced in caring for children from the ages of 3 months old, up to 17 years old.
My experience also includes SEND care, supporting children living with microcephaly; severe nut allergies; children living with emotional challenges, Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance.
I confidently plan activities that are based on a combination of educational approaches such as Montessori, Steiner, and the EYFS towards supporting the early learning and development of all children through activities that encourage resilience and independence.
I am experienced in supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development by helping them to recognise their emotions through child-initiated activities, such as embroidery, Lego, jewellery making, and baking.
I love the outdoors and believe that children thrive in outdoor play as well as child-initiated play.
I enjoy organising trips to the park, the Natural History Museum, and local play groups.
I conduct daily care routines set by the parents and led by the child's needs, such as naps and attending to the child's personal care routine.
I am highly experienced in providing all nanny duties, including collecting children from school, helping with homework, supporting children with bedtime routines, preparing and sterilising bottles, and establishing weaning and cooking homemade nutritious food.
