I’m Hollie. I’m 38 and I live in Fetcham with my Husband, and our two Children.
A little about me: In July I made the big (and really hard) decision to leave my job at a local Infant and Preschool, where I had worked for 5 years in Early Years up to year 2 as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Emotional Literacy Support Assistant. I wanted to focus on the early years in a home based setting. I’m hoping to use my knowledge and passion for emotional literacy and early years to deliver joy and curiosity focused Early Years Education to support and inspire young people to be the best they can be.
I am based at our home in Fetcham, Surrey. My home from home setting is situated in a quiet cul de sac off the Lower Road, with garden. We are based very close to a local park. I hope to spend lots of time in Nature whilst exploring the Local areas ,visiting National trust properties, local children’s groups and Libraries.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working in infant and early years education, supporting children’s learning and wellbeing in a nurturing and inclusive environment. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), I’ve developed a deep understanding of how young children learn best, using creative and engaging approaches to help every child thrive. In my role as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), I’ve supported pupils in developing emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence skills that are essential for both their learning and personal growth. Alongside this, my position as Mental Health Lead has allowed me to champion wellbeing across the school community, promoting positive mental health strategies for both children and staff. My passion lies in helping every child feel valued, supported, and ready to reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
Fully Registered OFSTED DBS Checked Childminder. Paediatric First Aid Trained. I hold a HLTA Status, Level 2 Counselling Skills and Children Mental Health Training.

Hollie looks after my two children and she is amazing with them. She is warm and caring and the kids absolutely love going to Hollie’s. I’ve never seen my kids settle in so quickly with someone new. We could not be happier with Hollie’s care. Thank you so much, you’ve been absolutely wonderful.
