My name is Chris and I am from Cape Town, South Africa with British heritage and have just moved here at the beginning of June. Before I came to the UK, I was a manager at a guesthouse in Camps Bay (the number one tourist destination in South Africa) for over 2 years. I am now staying with my aunt until October and looking for a part-time job and would love to work with kids. I am described as very family-orientated and come from a big-loving family with many children that I have cared for and looked after. I am highly organized, tidy, loyal, professional, reliable but can also be fun to be with (especially for the kids).
My Experience
I have looked after and babysat many kids in my family and outside it - family friends included. I am happy to give referrals/testimonials from the parents of the kids I have babysat. I am happy to babysit toddlers, children and teenagers.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English (3 years)
Honours in Psychology (1 year)
I studied at Varsity College in Cape Town and hope to further my studies in psychology in the future. I also majored in English during my undergrad degree and am happy to read to children and teach them the basics in the English language.
My Availability
I am looking for a part-time job as being a nanny or babysitter, happy to do a trial period too, to make sure I get on well with you as the parents and the children. I am here till October and may potentially extend this.
