I could not recommend Roisin highly enough!

My son, Jack has been with Roisin four days a week for 2 years now, since he was 9 months old.

To say I am thrilled with his progress since being with Roisin is an understatement. He is happy, confident, inquisitive, always wanting to explore. His speech, language and expressions are excellent and I'm sure that a huge part of that is due to the interactions and chats with Roisin.

Roisin offers a fantastic environment at her home, with lots of age appropriate toys and free play time, and the learning activities that Roisin sets up are really fantastic! Imaginative and colourful - it's been an absolutely highlight to get pictures of Jack interacting with whatever has been set up on the tuff tray, using all the little tools and exploring textures. I've also got a fridge full of fun art work and Jack will talk me through 'Jack did this bit and Roisin did this bit'.

Roisin also takes the children out regularly and meets up with childminder friends at play groups, soft plays, parks etc. I understand that some may be nervous about childminder settings having less exposure to group settings than at a nursery but I can honestly say I have had zero concerns about this, in fact I would say that Jack socialises and gets out into the community with Roisin and other children more than most kids I know (certainly more than I do!).

More than all of the above I know that Roisin absolutely dotes on Jack and the other children in her care. Jack will run to her for a cuddle in the mornings and happily waves me off. He loves her, and her family, just as we all do. I've lost count of the amount of people I've raved to about Roisin and I'm gutted she is leaving the area, but I'm so thankful that we've had her for as long as we have and that Jack has had such a wonderful time with her.
