About Me

Hi! My name is Sonia, I’m 23 years old, and I’m looking for a part-time position as a nanny, babysitter, and/or house helper.

I’m a friendly, outgoing, and patient person with a passion for supporting others. Although I’m new to professional childcare, I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s children and have several years of experience in care-focused roles. I’ve worked as an in-home care assistant and a rehabilitation assistant at a brain injury charity, where I supported individuals with complex needs and even helped with teaching tasks. I’ve also worked in the public sector as a case administrator for the probation service and in customer-facing roles in hospitality, giving me strong communication and multitasking skills.

I hold a Distinction* in Health and Social Care and a First-Class Honours degree in Criminology with Psychology. I also volunteered as a content writer for a mental health website, reflecting my ongoing interest in emotional well-being.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about health and fitness, love cooking healthy meals, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. I’m also trustworthy, highly organised, and enjoy helping households run smoothly.

While this is a career shift for me, I’m genuinely excited to gain experience in childcare and bring warmth, care, and energy into a family’s daily life.
