From nursery to nurturing

We made the switch from a nursery to a childminder, initially worried it might be a step down in care. But from the moment Sammi welcomed us into her warm, homely setting, we realised it was quite the opposite.

Her one-on-one attention, genuine care, and calm, nurturing approach have been outstanding. Our child settled in beautifully, and we’ve seen such positive changes, happier mornings, more confident play, and a real sense of security.

Sammi’s communication is second to none. She sends regular updates and lovely photos that brighten our day and keep us closely connected to what’s happening. From day one, she was transparent and professional, sharing all her certificates and documents, which gave us complete peace of mind.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. Sammi isn’t just a childminder she’s a trusted partner in our child’s early years, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Transition from nursery to childminder

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Nisha! Initially, I was apprehensive about switching from a nursery to a childminder. I assumed it might be a compromise in quality. But in reality, it was the complete opposite. Nisha didn’t just meet my expectations but she far exceeded them.

What truly set her apart was the level of individual care and attention she gave my 2 year old son. Unlike the often overwhelming, busy nursery environment, Nisha created a warm, calm, and personal setting where my son could flourish. She really took the time to get to know him, involving him in group activities, encouraging interaction, and planning enriching outings. We saw that structure and the genuine connection helped him feel secure, happy, and engaged.

What I once saw as a potential downgrade turned out to be the best decision for our little one. The one to one support, flexible routines, and home-like setting gave him so much more than the nursery ever could. I was also reassured by the professionalism Nisha showed, including sharing her up to date DBS check from the start.

If you’re considering making the switch to a childminder, I can’t recommend Nisha highly enough. Her care has made a world of difference to our son and also to me as parent
