My Requirements

Part-Time Nanny (N19) – September Start (or earlier)
Mon–Thurs 14:30–18:30 | Fri 12:00–18:30
With occasional evening babysitting

We are a warm and friendly family based in N19 (Highgate/Archway area), looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced part-time nanny for our nearly 3-year-old son.

Start date: End of August/ beginning of September but we can offer some flexibility for the right candidate to start earlier.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 18:30

Friday: 12:00 – 18:30

Additional evening babysitting available by mutual agreement


Your key responsibilities will include:

Picking our son up from nursery (a short bus ride away)

Engaging him in age-appropriate activities such as park visits, arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, garden time, local playgroups or library trips

Organising occasional playdates

Preparing and feeding him dinner

Helping with bath time and winding down until we return from work


Our son is a kind, loving, and energetic little boy who thrives with gentle guidance, structure, and lots of playful interaction. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and is committed to forming a warm and trusting bond with him.

What we’re looking for:

Previous childcare experience with toddlers or preschoolers

A loving, reliable, and nurturing approach

Lots of energy and a positive, can-do attitude

Confidence in sole charge

Fluent spoken English

Ability to support a structured but playful daily routine

Willingness to prepare simple, nutritious meals for the child

Baby and child first aid knowledge

Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check

Excellent references

Local knowledge of family-friendly activities in the area
