About Me

Hi! My name is Lily-Violet, I’m 23 years old and full of energy, enthusiasm, and kindness. I’m a bubbly and confident individual who loves staying active and making the most out of every day. I have a passion for reading, theatre, baking, fashion, travel and I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family—especially exploring new places or going for walks on the Malvern Hills.

I grew up in the performing arts world and spent many years dancing, which has helped shape my creativity, discipline, and love for working with others. I’m a fun, friendly, and reliable person who enjoys creating a positive and engaging environment for children. I truly value building trusting relationships with both parents and little ones, and always aim to be someone you can depend on.

My Experience

I’ve recently returned to the UK after spending two amazing years in the United States working as an au pair. I cared for two different families during my time abroad, gaining invaluable hands-on childcare experience. My first placement was with a family in New York, looking after two children aged 9 and 12. I then spent a year in Los Angeles caring for three children aged 4, 7, and 9. These roles gave me fantastic insight into managing different age groups, routines, and developmental stages, and really strengthened my skills in creating fun, structured, and safe environments for children.

Prior to that, I worked at Fort Royal School in Worcester, a specialist primary school for children with special educational needs (SEN), for nearly two years. During this time, I received comprehensive training in safeguarding, positive behaviour support, safe handling, and supporting children with a wide range of learning and developmental needs. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how to adapt my approach to meet each child’s individual needs with patience, empathy, and care.

I’m also a proud big sister to two younger brothers, aged 16 and 9. I’ve always been actively involved in their lives, especially with my youngest brother from the time he was born. Supporting my family has helped me naturally build my nurturing, responsible, and supportive approach to childcare.

My Qualifications

I’ve gained a wide range of valuable childcare-related training and experience through both professional roles and formal settings. While working at Fort Royal School, a specialist SEN primary school in Worcester, I received training in:
Safeguarding
Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Safe handling techniques
Positive behaviour support

In addition, I am:
First Aid trained
DBS checked
EpiPen trained
Holder of a full UK driving licence

I attended Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) from 2015 to 2020, where I developed strong communication, creative, and organisational skills. In September, I’ll be starting a degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Worcester.

While my degree is in a creative field, I’m passionate about continuing my work with children and hope to support families alongside my studies.

My Availability

I currently have full availability and am open to both regular and ad-hoc childcare. I’m available any day of the week, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Whether you’re looking for a full-time nanny, part-time help, occasional babysitting, or last-minute cover, I’m happy to be flexible and work around your family’s needs.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rates typically range from £15 to £20 per hour, depending on the number of children and the nature of the role. For example, I generally charge around £15 per hour for one child, and up to £20 per hour for multiple children or if additional responsibilities are required.

I’m always happy to discuss individual needs and agree on a rate that works fairly for both sides.
