My Requirements

We have several positions available at our brand new eco-friendly outdoor nursery opening in the autumn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a really amazing team right from the launch of this unique project.

The nursery will be set on an organic working farm in a National Trust village in rural west Oxfordshire. Two bespoke yurts with underfloor heating will sit amongst a hazel coppice, surrounded by a variety of natural play equipment. A car will be essential as there is no public transport to the village.

EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES

The positions will be up to 40 hours per week. Part-time would be considered for the right candidate. The earliest start time will be 8am and latest finish 6pm, but no more than 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a full-time nursery manager. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. The right candidate will also be happy to oversee the day to day running of the nursery, keep up with best practise and policies and procedures, deliver staff training when necessary and oversee the curriculum. We’d like someone who is hands on and can work with the children as well as in the office.

We are also looking for nursery practitioners, both full and part-time roles. The right candidates will be full of energy and have a passion for excellent childcare, and be passionate about building a good relationship with the children. Strong team workers are essential, as there will be a lovely social element to the role. Previous experience working in a nursery setting, preferably would be a bonus.
