About Me
We’re a warm, friendly Franco-British family of three living in Saffron Walden — even our dog is a dual national! I was born in France and have lived in the UK for 15 years, and my husband was born here but has a French mum. Our bright, imaginative four-year-old daughter is growing up speaking both languages and enjoying both cultures. We love stories, crafts, horses and outdoor play, and we’re looking for caring, reliable childcare to help us balance work and family life
My Requirements
We’d love a caring, trustworthy person to pick up our daughter from Katherine Semar School in Saffron Walden (she’s starting Reception there this September!), Monday to Friday at 3:10?pm, and look after her until around 6?pm during term time.
We’re very flexible — care can be at our home (we have a child-friendly garden and live in a safe area near the fields) or at yours, and we’re open to sharing with another family if that suits. You’ll need to be DBS-checked, Ofsted registered (or equivalent), and able to provide good references.
We’d love you to offer a tasty snack and fun, engaging activities — no dinner needed. There may also be occasional extra hours in the evenings or at weekends if that works for everyone. And if you’d like to combine childcare with some light housekeeping, we’d be happy to extend the hours too!
A little bilingual fun is always welcome — but most of all, we just want our daughter to feel safe, happy, and inspired in your care.
