About Me
We’re looking for a childminder or nursery in the Wombwell area for our daughter, who turns 1 in August 2025. We’re ideally hoping to start as soon as possible.
From now until the end of November, we’re looking for part-time care – around 3 hours a day, Tuesday to Friday. From December onwards, we’ll be using the government’s 30-hour funding and will need full-time care from 8am to 3pm, Tuesday to Friday.
We’re fairly flexible with timings and happy to work around availability – if you’re not able to accommodate all four days, please do let us know which days work best for you
My Requirements
• We are a vegetarian family — no meat, fish or eggs (including in snacks or meals provided).
• Looking for an Ofsted-rated Outstanding setting, or one with a clear focus on high-quality care.
• Prioritising environments that promote diversity, inclusion, and kindness, with positive representation and respectful social values.
• A strong focus on early cognitive and social development, including structured play, language skills, and gentle emotional support.
• Clean, safe and nurturing space with a strong daily routine.
• Ideally other children of a similar age for peer interaction.
• Open communication with parents and flexibility around routine is a bonus.
Please note: Our daughter eats solids, but just to note, she is still breastfed alongside meals , we’re happy to discuss how best to support her feeding routine as she transitions.
