My Experience

I am a qualified GCSE maths teacher with over 8 years of one-to-one maths tutoring experience, offering online sessions for all abilities. I tutor students from the age of 7 years up to GCSE level and I specialise in boosting student’s confidence and self belief, this is where I see student’s really flourish in their learning, and gaining the grades they deserve. I have always had great results with my students whether they be top of their class and needing extending, or really struggling with their maths. My teaching technique works very well with those that struggle in ordinary teaching settings, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD or learning difficulties. I think mindset is really important and that the way we look at our life and our abilities has a huge impact on how well we can do in our learning. My teaching technique involves mirroring and getting on my student's level, creating a good rapport to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and that they can enjoy their time learning with me. My students quickly learn that there is no judgement from my side and I am purely here to help them, show them what they're capable of and help them thrive in and enjoy their work, and in turn, get the results they truly deserve.

My Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (I did my teaching degree at the University of Sussex in 2020), Mathematics GCSE and A Level (I only tutor up to GCSE level). I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Fashion Design and Business Studies.

My Availability

My lessons are one hour long (shorter or longer lessons can be discussed) I offer weekly or fortnightly lessons which can pause or carry on through school holidays.
