My Requirements

We are a professional working family with a young child looking for a live-out full-time housekeeper and cook starting in September 2025. Both parents work full-time demanding jobs, so the ideal candidate would be able to adapt to changing schedules and help us keep the house running smoothly. Our child will be 1 year old in September and will attend nursery full-time. The candidate should be pet-friendly (we have two cats).

Duties will include:

Cleaning and tidying a 3-bedroom home (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning surfaces, washing dishes)
Laundry and ironing
Managing groceries and other household supplies
Cooking a healthy, family style dinner for the family
Changing bed linens
Light cat care (e.g., scooping litter boxes)
Watering plants
Running ad hoc errands
Dealing with contractors or other tradespeople (e.g., gardeners)
Backup childcare – our child will attend nursery 5 days a week, but the candidate would need to step in and look after her if she is home sick from nursery or pick her up from nursery if we get tied up at work
