Part Time Nanny Job In Harrogate
About Me
Hi I’m Charlotte and we’re a warm, fun and friendly family looking for a part-time nanny to help with after-school care for our two children, aged 4 and 8, who are both in full-time school. I work full time, largely from home but also involves some travel.
My Requirements
Duties include:
• School pick-up (Monday to Thursday)
• Supporting homework (such as spellings) and reading
• Preparing simple meals and helping with the evening routine
• Occasional light household tasks related to the children
• Staying overnight a few nights per month when I travel for work
• Flexibility to stay later one or two evenings a month
Hours:
• 3–4 evenings per week (Monday to Thursday)
• Typically 3:30pm – 7:30pm (some flexibility welcome)
• Plus overnight care as needed (advance notice given)
The opportunity to increase hours during the school holidays if desired.
You’ll need to be:
• Friendly, patient, and trustworthy
• Confident managing school-aged children
• Experienced with childcare (minimum 2 years preferred)
• DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
• First aid trained (a bonus)
• Local or able to travel reliably to/from our home.
