My Experience

I have been babysitting for local families since the age of 17, caring for children ranging from toddlers to pre-teens. These roles have helped me build a strong foundation in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments for children with different personalities and needs.
Beyond babysitting, I’ve spent my life as a young carer for my autistic brother, which has given me deep, hands-on experience with neurodiversity, patience, and emotional support. This has shaped my ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt to different communication styles, and provide care that is both compassionate and structured. I also have experience working as a teaching assistant, where I supported classroom learning, helped manage behavior, and provided one-on-one support to students who needed extra attention. This role strengthened my understanding of child development and my ability to support children both academically and emotionally.
Together, these experiences have made me confident, caring, and capable of meeting the unique needs of every child I look after.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS Checked – Up-to-date and fully cleared for working with children and vulnerable individuals.
Experience as a Teaching Assistant – Hands-on experience supporting children in a school environment, assisting with learning, behaviour management, and day-to-day classroom activities.
Strong Understanding of Child Development – Gained through both professional experience in schools and personal caregiving.
Experienced with Neurodiverse Children – Through caring for my autistic brother, I have developed strong skills in communication, patience, and individualized care.
