My Experience

I have a strong background in childcare and emotional support through a variety of hands-on roles. I volunteer with Action for Children as an Independent Visitor, where I build long-term, supportive relationships with children in care. I also volunteer with a crisis text helpline, offering support to vulnerable individuals experiencing emotional distress. In addition, I work at a play café that caters specifically to children aged 0-5, where l assist with play-based learning and supervision in a safe and engaging environment. I also currently provide babysitting services in my local area and have up-to-date DBS clearance, safeguarding training, and first aid certification. My experience is further supported by academic studies in Counselling Psychology and a BTEC in Health and Social Care. This background helps me better understand children's emotional and developmental needs, allowing me to offer thoughtful and supportive care to your child.

My Qualifications

I hold BTEC qualifications in both Health and Social Care and Psychology, giving me a strong foundation in child development, emotional wellbeing, and communication. I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Counselling Psychology, which expands my knowledge in mental health and therapeutic support.
I am fully certified in Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid, Certificate in Child Protection, Certificate in Health and Safety, Level 2 Certificate in Allergy Awareness, a Award in Developing Community Activities for Youth at Risk, Award in Human Lifespan Development, Award in Meeting Individual Care Needs, Award in Supporting Individuals With Additional Needs, Level 2 Food and Hygiene and Safety for Catering and I hold an enhanced DBS check.
These qualifications ensure that I am well-equipped to respond to emergencies, maintain a safe and secure environment, and uphold the highest standards of care and responsibility.
Together, these experiences allow me to provide more than just supervision, I offer nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and emotionally supportive babysitting. Whether it’s helping children regulate big feelings, encouraging their curiosity, or simply making them feel safe and heard, I approach every babysitting role with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness.

My Availability

some weeks I'm available from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and other weeks from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. My availability alternates every other week, but I have flexibility to adjust my hours when needed. I'm generally available in the afternoons and evenings most days and can work nights as well. With advance notice, I can often accommodate daytime hours on most days. I'm committed to being reliable and adaptable, especially to help the families I serve.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

With my DBS check, safeguarding training, first aid certification, volunteering background, and ongoing hands-on experience with children, my rate is £15 per hour. This reflects the quality of care, safety, and attention I bring to every family I work with. That said, I understand every family's needs are different, so I’m happy to discuss and adjust pricing depending on the number of children and or lighter duties, I’m open to offering a reduced rate.
