We live in fishponds as a family of 5, with 2 dogs.
I have one child who needs babysitting, plus and adult daughter who is rarely home due to work, and a teenage son who may be home but doesn't require anything. He shuts himself in his bedroom most of the time, youll barely know hes there except for the odd shout at his xbox. Oliver is 8, he is full of energy and creativity. He loves reading, lego, minecraft, baking, jumping, and his dogs.
He has a diagnosis of autism, and school have requested an ADHD assessment too. He's incredibly clever, you'll likely have intense and deep conversations about things he finds interesting. The support he needs includes managing his emotions as he can become overwhelmed easily. He also struggles to understand humour so tries hard to tell jokes, but often insults people when he gets this wrong. He doesn't mean to offend, so needs reminding when jokes are inappropriate.
My Requirements
I require occasional, as hoc babysitting during evenings so my husband and I can spend some time together. Also, occasional daytimes during school holidays if I need to go into work.
