Experienced SEN Teacher and PMLD Lead with a Postgraduate Certificate in Speech and Language Therapy. Experienced classroom practitioner within inclusive and SEN schools. Holder of National Professional Qualification for Leading Literacy. Positive and creative with over 18 years’ experience working with a diverse range of adults and children with special educational needs and disabilities. Including children with ASD, PMLD, SLD, MLD, SLCD.
My Experience
Daily teaching and delivery of lessons for a class of children with PMLD and ASD including VI.
Developing and adapting curriculums to make relevant engaging and accessible for the class
Setting IEP targets and meeting with parents
Managing teaching assistants.

Liaising with MDT team to deliver therapeutic interventions as advised by the Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists

Collaborative working to develop specific tool to assess learning using the new Engagement Profile Framework.
Tutoring for children both 1-1 in person and through online platforms.
