About Me
Family of four. I have two daughters. My eldest (13 year old) is diagnosed with autism and has a PDA profile. She is homeschooling.
My Requirements
We require a fun, approachable person (with a good understanding of autism with a PDA profile) who can engage our daughter in her special interests (typically arts and crafts, but changes often) and allow her to gain confidence and work on her social skills.
She is very reluctant to try new things and meet new people and can isolate herself so a lot of patience and interest in her things (typically these are animal - cats/dogs - making bracelets and masks) are key.
An hour or two per week, but as this is our first attempt it would be dependent on our daughter's engagement to it.
