After-School Nanny – Marylebone / Queen’s Park – Start 1st September
We are a warm, welcoming family currently based in central London and about to move to Queen’s Park, looking for a kind, dependable after-school nanny to care for our two children, aged three (soon to be four) and seven years old.
Both children attend school in Marylebone, so the role involves school pick-ups followed by care at our new home in Queen’s Park. We are looking for someone to start from 1st September 2025
My Requirements
Key Details:
• Location: School in Marylebone, home (from September) in Queen’s Park
• Start Date: 1st September 2025
• Days: Monday to Friday (some flexibility possible)
• Hours: Typically 3:00pm – 7:00pm
• Flexibility for one longer day per week (e.g. early start or evening help)
• Extra hours may be available by agreement
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Picking up both children from school
• Taking them to after-school activities (e.g. swimming lessons)
• Preparing healthy snacks and family-friendly dinners
• Engaging the children in creative play, reading, and winding down
• Helping with after-school homework (especially for our 7-year-old)
• Supporting the evening routine (e.g. dinner, bath, calm time)
• Occasional light household tasks (e.g. tidying, laundry, unpacking dishwasher)
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
• Experienced with children aged 3–8
• Warm, reliable, and organised
• Comfortable preparing simple, nutritious meals
• Able to support primary-level homework in a calm, encouraging way
• Confident navigating London (especially Marylebone and Queen’s Park)
• DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid trained (or willing to complete training)
• A non-smoker
• Fluent in English
