Hello, my name is Sascha and I live in Lewes with my husband and our two young children. Although I’m not a registered childminder, I have extensive experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I am currently on maternity leave with my youngest daughter and am looking for part-time work to commence after the summer holidays.
My Experience
I have experience as a private nanny, where I cared for a young baby from 7-20 months. I have also worked with a registered childminder in Lewes for two years, caring for children aged 6 months to 4 years. This involved everything from forest school and creative play to supporting mealtimes and daily routines in a warm, lovely homely environment.
Before having children I helped establish and run a youth theatre in Brighton for 7–16 year olds. This group has now been running for over 15 years. I have loved seeing it evolve, helping children grow in confidence, a very playful, nurturing and supportive environment. Being able to see individuals come out of their shell and be able to express themselves authentically, has been one of my greatest achievements.
I’m DBS checked and passionate about creating a nurturing, calm, fun and imaginative space for children to thrive.
