About Us

Scamps has a board of directors who are all volunteers and are all parents of children who currently attend Scamps or have in the past.

Their commitment to Scamps has been such a support to the management team.

Scamps managers are:

Tara is the manager, Tracey is the Deputy for Breakfast Club and Afterschool and Amy is the Little Scamps Deputy.

Scamps provide flexible childcare from 7.30 a.m. until 6.00p.m.

There is a large Learning room, hall and a beautiful shaded garden with an abundance of learning and development opportunities, where the children can cultivate their own plants and explore a range of sensory experiences. The curriculum is focused and centred around the child and consists of five main enrichments to support this:
Outdoor Learning
Mindfulness
Cooking
Physical
Cultural

The Breakfast Club and Afterschool sessions also offer a range of activities such as:
Scamps Science
Scamps Mini Bakers
Arts and Crafts
Table top activities
Construction
Small world, role play, home corner etc
A free flow environment that allows the children access to the indoor/outdoor environments throughout the session.
