About Me
Hi! I’m Kate, a loving single mum to two amazing children — a lively, imaginative 8 year old boy who loves the outdoors and a loving 1 year old girl. (2 in October) We’re based in Kilbirnie and I’ve joined Childcare.co.uk to find someone who can be a kind, supportive presence in our lives — not just a childcare provider, but someone who becomes almost like part of the family/friend.
Our home is warm, calm (most of the time) and full of laughter. My son is full of energy, loves to chat, and is always up for an adventure or a bit of creative play. He responds really well to gentle, understanding people who let him be himself. My daughter is an affectionate little soul who’s just starting to explore the world. She loves cuddles, books, music, and being included in everyday routines.
I’m looking for someone my children can genuinely look forward to spending time with, someone who connects with them naturally and is happy to be part of our world on a casual, flexible basis as I juggle being a single working parent. Whether it’s helping out occasionally or building a more consistent presence, I’d love to find the right person who fits with our vibe.

My Requirements
I am looking for a baby sitter who would become a pivotal part in my kids life. Ideally I would want to develop some sort of friendship as I think it’s important for my kids to see their babysitter as more than just a nanny etc. I’d be hoping the relationship was genuine between my kids and their babysitter. I don’t have a set routine as yet but willing to get something set in stone if that’s easier.
