About Me
I am a qualified primary and secondary teacher. My teaching background is Biology/Science and BGE (Broad General Education = P1-S3 level) Maths and Numeracy/Literacy in primary. I currently teach a range of subjects in a secondary school. I have experience supporting pupils with ASN and parent two ASD boys. Two of my three children are now at university and the time is right for tutoring in my spare time. I am based in Edinburgh West close to the Gyle.
My Experience
Following raising my own family I retrained as a teacher in 2027. Prior to education I worked in the Science industry and as a vocational trainer in beauty therapy. My speciality over the last few years has been primary-based and the support of transition for P7 pupils entering S1. I’m very familiar with Early Level to Level 3 maths and have taught this to young people of all ages in both primary and secondary settings. For this reason I have a lot of materials and learning aids I employ when teaching a course of work.

My Availability
Because I am based in a secondary school I don’t finish before 4pm earliest Mon-Thu and I would be prepared to consider Friday half days and Saturday mornings.
