Hello! I’m a dedicated Primary and SEN tutor, a proud mother of three, and a foster carer. Supporting children and young people has always been at the heart of everything I do. I have a genuine passion for helping each child grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
I truly believe that every child can achieve, given the right support and encouragement. We all learn in different ways, and at our own pace, and that’s something I always keep in mind when planning my sessions. Whether your child needs a little extra help with core subjects, or more tailored support for additional needs, I provide a calm, patient, and nurturing learning environment where they can thrive.
My approach is flexible, child-centred, and built on strong relationships with both learners and their families. I aim to make learning enjoyable, and accessible for every student I work with.
My Experience
I have been working in schools for the past 12 years, supporting children across a wide range of needs and abilities. Before that, I taught gymnastics, which helped me develop a strong understanding of how children learn through movement, confidence-building, and play.
My experience includes working in both mainstream primary settings and specialist SEN provisions. I’ve been serving as a Deputy SENCo and Interventions Teacher in a large Secondary school, where I lead small-group and 1:1 sessions focused on speech and language, literacy, and maths. I also support with assessing pupils, identifying gaps in learning, and planning targeted interventions to help them progress.
My hands-on experience across different roles means I understand how to adapt my teaching to suit each child’s individual needs, strengths, and learning style.
My Qualifications
PGCE in Primary Education
I am a qualified primary teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, giving me a strong foundation in teaching children across the primary age range.
Elklan Level 3 – Speech and Language Support for Autistic Children
This specialist training has equipped me with strategies to support communication and language development in autistic learners.
My Availability
As I work full time I am available from 5pm - 8pm. I also run the sessions from my home.

Small Group Sessions £15
These sessions are great for children who benefit from learning with peers in a supportive, small-group environment. I keep group sizes small to ensure each child still receives plenty of individual attention.
1:1 Sessions £35
Ideal for children who need more personalised support or would thrive with dedicated one-to-one teaching. These sessions are tailored entirely to your child's specific needs and learning goals.
