About Me
I have grown up in London, creative, have been a babysitter/part-time nanny on and off since i was 16 years old. I love hanging out/ getting creative with children and have none of my own, so I really get a lot out of the work beyond just cash. We do a lot of drawing, playing, using our imagination. I am a storyteller and love to play, but also have no issue drawing firm but fair boundaries when its time to clean/calm down/do homework.
My Experience
I have cared for ages between 5 months and 10 years old, lots of babysitting, but I have listed the most significant long term placements here:
1 x Baby girl, (5 month old) in Highbury for 7 months (2 days a week).
2 x little girls (9 months and 4 yrs) in Paris for a year.
2 x little girls (3 and 4.5 years), in Stoke Newington for 1.5 years (4 days a week).
Unless the families circumstances change, I like to commit to a minimum of a year, as I was raised by nannies, and know what its like to have a lot of change of care givers.
My Qualifications
Automatic driving license / BA in Art & Design / Safeguarding vulnerable adults qualification level 3 / First Aid trained
My Availability
I've just quit a high demand corporate job to allow for time for my other job, and improve my quality of life. I am the Managing Director at a small CIC for Learning disabled adults, which takes up 2.5 days of my time. Fridays is my day in the office so I'm not available to work until after 6pm.
I am looking for 2-3 days part-time or full time nannying. These can be 2/3 full days or even afternoons all week excluding Fridays. I'm open to before and after school drop offs also babysitting evenings, and weekend cover.
