My Summary
About Me
I am a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny with experience caring for children across a range of ages, both in sole and shared charge roles. I take pride in creating safe, nurturing environments and planning thoughtful, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s development and enjoyment. I work well alongside other caregivers, including parents and permanent nannies, and I’m confident adapting to new routines and household preferences. Whether it’s structuring daily schedules, organising outings, or overseeing mealtimes, I bring a calm, proactive approach and always aim to support families in a discreet and professional manner.
My Experience
My childcare experience is rooted in both family life and community involvement. I helped raise my younger brother, who is twelve years younger than me, giving me hands-on experience in caring for a child from infancy through to school age. This taught me how to be patient, responsible, and responsive to a child’s changing needs.
I’ve also provided regular babysitting for several families, supporting children of different ages with routines, play, mealtimes, and bedtime. In addition, I spent two years as a Scout Leader, planning and running weekly sessions and activities for children aged 6–14. This role strengthened my skills in managing groups, building trust with children and parents, and fostering independence and confidence in young people through structured, age-appropriate experiences.
Together, these experiences have made me confident, organised, and adaptable in a wide range of childcare settings.
