About Me
We are a busy family of four with two children - Weston (9) and Parker (5). With both of us back to work, we are looking for someone to be an extension of our family rather than just a caregiver. As we live in Chiswick with family and friends back in the states. We value building connections with others who can help broaden our community and become part of our support network. Weston faces anxiety and ADHD which has caused stress in his life and our entire family. When faced with transitions, he struggles to adapt and often becomes avoidant. We need a strong person to join us in the pursuit of helping Weston. As a family we like to cook, bake and enjoy the outdoors.
My Requirements
We are seeking a caring nanny, preferably a current or retired teacher with SEN experience, to provide daily after-school support for our wonderful 9-year-old son who has ADHD and anxiety. Our son is a bright, athletic, and engaging child who thrives with understanding guidance and structured support. We need someone who can provide school pick-up and homework assistance Monday through Friday from 3:30-6:30 PM, with some days requiring pick-up of our 5-year-old daughter as well. The ideal candidate will have the patience and expertise to help our son succeed academically while managing his unique needs, understand neurodivergent learning styles, and be able to connect with active children who benefit from both kindness and firm boundaries.
