My Summary
About Me
My name is Chloe, and I’m currently working with children in care while completing my qualification in children’s, young people and families. I’m a naturally bubbly, friendly, and caring person, and I have a real passion for supporting children and young people and helping them feel safe, happy, and confident.
Through my experience, I’ve worked with children of various ages and backgrounds, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and fun in childcare. I bring a calm and positive energy to every interaction, and I love getting involved in creative play, reading stories, outdoor activities, and making sure children feel truly cared for and understood.
I’d be more than happy to speak further or meet in person so we can chat about your child’s needs and routine. Looking forward to hopefully working with your family!
My Experience
My background includes a range of experiences that have shaped my nurturing and reliable approach to childcare. I previously worked as a Team Manager at M&S, where I developed strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills—qualities that I carry into every aspect of childcare. I’ve also worked with vulnerable adults, which gave me a deep understanding of how to provide compassionate, patient, and person-centred care.
In addition, I’ve worked in a nursery setting, gaining hands-on experience with younger children, supporting routines, learning through play, and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Now, in my current role supporting children and young people in care, I work with a variety of ages and needs, focusing on building trust, encouraging independence, and helping children feel secure and valued. Whether it’s settling little ones to sleep, preparing meals, helping with homework, or simply playing and having fun, I’m confident and capable across the board.
My Qualifications
I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care, which have given me a strong foundation in safeguarding, communication, child development, and supporting a wide range of individual needs. These qualifications, combined with my practical experience, make me confident in providing high-quality, compassionate care.
I’m currently studying towards my children’s, young people and families level 4 qualification and my end point assessment is due in November, and then I will be qualified.
