My Experience

With over 15 years of experience in the early years sector, I bring a deep passion and proven expertise in supporting children's development and well-being. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, as well as a degree in Early Childhood Studies. My professional journey includes five successful years as a nursery manager, where I led teams and oversaw the care and education of up to 90 children. This role strengthened my leadership, organisation, and safeguarding skills, and allowed me to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families.
I also have experience as a nursery SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), working closely with children with a range of additional needs, including autism and speech and language delays. This has given me a strong understanding of early identification and intervention, and I am confident in recognising potential developmental concerns and making timely referrals to outside agencies when needed, ensuring each child receives the support they deserve.

I have a comprehensive understanding of child development across all stages and tailor learning opportunities to support each child’s unique needs. I place a strong emphasis on preparing children for school, helping them develop the confidence, independence, and core skills they need for a smooth and successful transition into formal education.

I believe that effective communication with parents is key. I aim to keep families fully informed about their child’s day — from the activities they’ve enjoyed, to their achievements, progress, and current developmental targets. I work in close partnership with parents to support each child holistically. As a childminder, my goal is to provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

My Fees

• Childminding from £8.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I accept government-funded hours for eligible children. Any funded entitlement will be deducted from your overall invoice, and you will only be billed for the remaining balance not covered by the funding
