About Me

Hi! I’m Daniella, a first-time mum currently exploring childcare options for my son, who is due at the end of October 2025. We’re planning ahead and hoping to find a kind, reliable childminder starting around September 2026, when he’ll be about 10 months old.

We’re ideally looking for four days of care during the week, roughly 8:00am to 5:30/6:00pm ( we can be slight flexible) . At the moment, we’re thinking Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, as my partner is currently off on Wednesdays and will be caring for our son then. However, his schedule could change by next year, so some flexibility with the days (within weekdays) would be appreciated. As we could change his day off of Wednesday to another week day. But ultimately looking for four week day care.

We also plan to use the 30 hours of free childcare once we become eligible.

As this is our first time navigating childcare, I really appreciate any guidance, and I’m keen to learn more about how different settings work. Most of all, we’re looking for a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where our little one can thrive.
