About Me
We are a family of five with two adult children and a 12 year old daughter who will be starting online school from home in year 8. She and requires 1:1 support with her school work due to her ASD ADHD. We would also be looking for a mentor who is willing to spend time playing games with her.
. We have a dog, cat and tortoise. My husband and I work mainly from home in our home offices.
My Requirements
We are looking for a female personal tutor /mentor to provide support and companionship for our wonderful 12-year-old daughter.
Our daughter is a bright and chatty individual who loves spending time at home with our animals, playing role play games with toys and gaming. She is Autistic ADHD and has found the physical school environment too challenging so is homeschooling with online lessons.
As her tutor/mentor you will build a trusted, nurturing relationship with our daughter supporting her with self study, following her online timetable, engaging with her on her special interests (gaming, role play, cooking) and if required 1:1 support during her live lessons. Other responsibilities may include, accompanying her during activities outside of the home (eg visiting the shops) ensuring her safety while fostering her independence and enjoyment.
You will need to be attentive to her needs and preferences, including her sensitivity to crowds, anxiety around study and assist with social emotional
development in a patient and nurturing manner, encouraging her growth and confidence.
