My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working with children from 6 weeks old to 11 years old. My background includes roles as a nursery nurse, teaching assistant, deputy manager of a private nursery, and manager of an out-of-school club.

Throughout my career, I have contributed towards three settings achieving Outstanding results in Ofsted inspections — something I’m very proud of, as it reflects my commitment to high-quality care, safety, and learning environments.

I’m fully DBS checked, first-aid trained, and confident with daily routines including school runs, mealtimes, homework support, bath and bedtime, and caring for children with additional needs. I also have experience creating structured activities that encourage learning, independence, and social skills in a safe and supportive environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 4 qualification in Primary Education Studies, giving me a strong foundation in child development and learning. I am a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring I can confidently promote and protect children’s welfare. I’m also qualified in Paediatric First Aid, providing peace of mind that I can respond effectively in an emergency, and I hold a qualification in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health, enabling me to support emotional well-being alongside physical care.

My Availability

I’m available Monday to Friday, with flexibility for daytime and after-school hours. Early morning starts may be possible depending on your location, as travel time will need to be considered.
I am also prepared to facilitate occasional overnight care.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

My standard rate is £18 per hour, reflecting my 10 years of experience, specialist qualifications, and the high standard of care I provide. This rate covers care for up to two children, with tailored activities, emotional support, and routines suited to their age and needs.

I have a minimum booking of 2 hours per visit to ensure I can deliver quality care and cover travel time. Early morning starts are possible, though the rate may vary slightly depending on distance. For roles involving infants, additional children, or specific requirements (such as SEN support), my rate is £20–£22 per hour.
