Hello, I’m Shrishti – a caring, patient, and responsible individual with a strong passion for working with children. I'm currently pursuing my masters degree in MA International Journalism from Cardiff University School of Journalism, Media, and Culture. I'm eagerly looking for an alternative to generate some side income in order to pay my own rent and bills.

I have extensive real-life childcare experience for my niece from her birth until the age of four, a journey that began during the peak COVID-19 days. Looking after a newborn in such uncertain times taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of creating a safe, healthy, and loving environment even under pressure. I managed everything from daily routines, early learning activities, and meal preparation to providing emotional comfort and keeping her engaged while staying indoors for long periods.
This experience gave me strong organisational skills, resilience, and the ability to respond calmly in challenging situations. I understand how much trust parents place in a carer, and I am committed to ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and supported.
My Experience
I do not have any professional experience but I have extensive hands-on childcare experience as for my niece from birth until she turned four. This included creating a safe and nurturing environment, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting early learning and development, preparing healthy meals, and managing daily routines. I am patient, responsible, and attentive, with a genuine love for working with children. My experience has given me strong skills in communication, organisation, and handling different child personalities with care and understanding.
My Qualifications
I'm a student currently finishing my dissertation project. Can work 20 hrs per week until August end and 40hrs per week starting September.
