About Me
Hi! I’m going to be a first time mum (due Nov 2025). I have been volunteering with children aged 4-21 for the last 23 years through the Girl Guides. One of the different things about me is that I have sailed on the Tall Ships and was part oh the emergency evacuation crew of 4 people. I love animals and have a crazy working Cocker Spaniel who is a ball of energy 24 hours a day! I’m always on the go with work, volunteering and generally helping others day to day. I Work in a local pharmacy full time and love helping people but my previous career was as multimedia designer and moved all things nerdy. I gave that life up to help others as I found it much more rewarding. I have dark and sarcastic humour which can sometimes take getting used to but I’m bubbly enough and could talk the leg off a stool!
My Requirements
I will be returning to work in Sept/Oct time in 2026. I’m not sure if it will be a full time or part time basis as my workplace has not yet given me confirmation. I will be needing an under 1 year old minded from 8.30am to 6pm between 2-5 days a week mid week. I am also hoping for a pick up and drop off as I don’t drive. My timings are slightly up in the air as I don’t have a set rota organised with my workplace as they won’t discuss that yet. I would much prefer to have my baby under childminding care which is smaller and more intimate than a day care where she would be with a class of 30 etc I’m trying to get organised in advance to see what the options are or at least have my babies name on a waiting list with the understanding of days pending.
