About Us:

We’re a family of three (plus a friendly cat!) based in central St Albans. Our little one is eight months old, and as first-time parents we’re excited to find someone who can bond with our baby and support us as we transition into new routines. Mum works from home, and Dad is currently on paternity leave but gradually returning to work.

Our home is in walking distance of shops and the train station, with permit street parking available nearby.

The Role: Childcare & Personal Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care for our baby, including feeding, naps, meal prep, and supporting daily routines.
- Assist my wife with personal assistant tasks related to her business, such as scheduling, organising, and light administrative support.
- Help balance daily household and baby-related tasks.
- Offer flexibility to shift between childcare (approximately 60–70% of the role) and PA duties (30–40% of the role), depending on the day’s needs.

Start Date:
We are aiming for November/December, but this is flexible. Before the role begins, we’d like to arrange a few short trial sessions (1–2 hours) to ensure a good fit and to see how you manage with the child.

Will be full-time hours, hired as an employee.

What We’re Looking For:

- Someone nurturing, energetic, reliable, and adaptable.
- Comfortable caring for a baby while also supporting personal assistant duties for my wife.
- Organised, proactive, and able to handle both childcare and administrative responsibilities.
- Friendly and collaborative, as this role is about working closely with our family.

We value experience but ideally we like to see professional qualifications relating to childcare to back this up.
