My Experience
i have spent 17 years in children’s residential care, with 15 years as a Registered Manager. I’ve led homes for young people with complex needs, using a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach (connection before correction).
My work includes: setting up safe routines, behaviour and risk plans, multi-agency meetings, staff training, audits, and inspection preparation. I’m known for staying calm under pressure, honest communication, and practical tools that actually get used. I design ADHD/dyslexia-friendly resources that are simple, visual, and step-by-step.
