My Summary
About Me
Hello! My name is Amber. I’m a bubbly, friendly individual who loves working with children and brings positive energy to every situation. I’m easy to get along with and always aim to fit in naturally with each family’s routine and values. Building trust and creating a warm, supportive environment for both children and parents is really important to me.
I love being outdoors and encouraging children to explore, play, and learn through nature. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the park, or doing outdoor activities, I find it’s a great way for children to build confidence, stay active, and have fun. I really enjoy getting involved and interacting with the children to make every day enjoyable and engaging.
I’m reliable, caring, and great at building trust with both children and parents. Whether you're looking for a regular babysitter, occasional help, or someone who truly understands early childhood needs, I’d love to help.
My Experience
I have a strong background in childcare, starting with my GCSE in Child Development, where I gained a solid understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop across different stages.
After completing my studies, I worked in a nursery where I cared for toddlers and preschool-aged children. My role involved supervising play-based learning, supporting daily routines, encouraging social and emotional development, and helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment. I also worked closely with other childcare professionals to ensure each child’s individual needs were met.
I’m confident, approachable, and great at building positive relationships with both children and parents. I take pride in creating a space where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn and play.
My Qualifications
I have a GCSE in Child Development, where I gained a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop physically, emotionally, and socially. This gave me valuable insight into the different stages of childhood and how to support them effectively.
I also completed one year of A-Level Health and Social Care, which expanded my knowledge of working with children and vulnerable individuals in various care settings. It helped me develop key skills such as communication, safeguarding awareness, and understanding the importance of promoting well-being.
Together, these studies have given me a solid foundation in childcare and have supported my practical experience working in a nursery environment.
My Availability
I’m available all day/night on a Sunday and Monday, and also most evenings.
