About Me

Hi, I’m Katie. I’m 29 and live in a lovely big cottage in Longwick with my two children, who are 4 years old and 7 months old. I’ve been looking after little ones for over 10 years through babysitting, and becoming a registered childminder has always been something I’ve dreamed of.

Since moving to Longwick and having more space, I’ve really enjoyed opening my home to friends and their children. It’s made me realise how much I love creating a welcoming, homely space where children can feel safe, happy, and part of the family.

I am a firm believer of children spending time outdoors. I have a safe and secure courtyard garden, and there’s a local park less than three minutes walk away with a large field, playground and ramps which we visit very regularly.

For the moment I am able to provide baby sitting only but hope to soon be registered as a child minder.
