My Experience

I have experience caring for children from babies as young as 3 months through to school-aged children up to 12 years old. Over the years, I have created a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to develop at their own pace.

My experience includes:

Supporting babies and toddlers with their daily routines, comfort, and early development

Providing stimulating play and creative activities to build confidence, imagination, and social skills

Helping school-aged children with homework, reading, and learning support in a calm, supportive space

Running a screen-free setting that encourages children to enjoy sports, games, outdoor play, and hands-on activities

Offering wraparound school care (Breakfast & After-School Clubs) that give parents reliable support and children structured, fun sessions before and after school

Adapting to the needs of each child and working closely with parents to ensure a smooth routine at home and in care

Through this experience, I’ve developed a flexible and family-centred approach that supports both children’s wellbeing and parents’ peace of mind.

My Qualifications

Registered Childminder with a registered agency– fully vetted, trained, and supported by an Ofsted-registered childminding agency

Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) – supporting children’s learning and development from birth to 5 years in line with national standards

Paediatric First Aid Certified – trained to handle emergencies and prioritise children’s safety

Safeguarding Training – ensuring children are cared for in a safe and protected environment

Food Hygiene & Safety Training – maintaining high standards when preparing and serving meals and snacks

Enhanced DBS Check – for your peace of mind, confirming suitability to work with children

Ongoing Professional Development – regularly updating my training to provide the best quality childcare

My Availability

I offer care that fits around busy family life, with flexible options for both younger children and school-aged children.

Childcare (ages 3 months–12 years):

Hourly care – minimum 2 hours (flexible sessions to suit family needs)

Half Day care – up to 6 hours

Full Day care – 7:00am to 7:00pm (12 hours of care available)

Weekend and holiday cover – available on request

Wraparound School Care (ages 4–12 years):

Breakfast Club (7:00am–8:30am) – includes a healthy breakfast

After-School Club (3:00pm–7:00pm) – includes a snack & hot tea, plus homework help, sports, games, and creative activities

Parents are responsible for school drop-off and pick-up.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.50 per hour

I aim to keep my fees clear and straightforward, with no hidden costs.

Childcare (ages 3 months–12 years):

Hourly Care – £6.50 per hour (minimum 2 hours, meals/snacks not included)

Half Day Care (up to 6 hours) – £40 (meals/snacks not included)

Full Day Care (7am–7pm) – £70 (meals/snacks not included)

Meals & Snacks Add-On – £5 per day if required

Wraparound School Care (ages 4–12 years):

Breakfast Club (7:00–8:30am) – £10 (includes breakfast)

After-School Club (3:00–7:00pm) – £25 (includes snack & hot tea)

Payments:

At the moment, I only accept private payments.

I will begin accepting funded hours from January 2026.
