My Experience

I currently work at a sen school.
Their needs are specified, but not limited to, ADHD, Autism, Behavioural needs, High Anxiety, Tourette’s, Etc.
My job requires more attention and care than a mainstream school.
Making sure the children eat, are looked after emotionally and physically, watched the whole day, taken to activities, supported through therapeutic activities. Taken to active activities. Helped with emotional needs to do with either school or outside school scenarios.
Teaching life skills such as, general people skills, health, physical and academic skills.
No day is the same and I am always prepared to provide the best care emotionally and everything in between.
The ages are in between 10-16, although I have had a lot of experience with ages from newborns to early teens with often babysitting my families children, friends or neighbours.
I have also volunteered previously at a summer camp where I taught children life/people skills whilst doing activities outside and helping them learn more about themselves and discover their interests and personalities.
It is so important to have the best care for a child as this is a massive contribution to supporting them into where they will go in life.

My Qualifications

No official qualifications but I have experience within a complex needs school and other experience as described above and Full DBS check to provide.

My Availability

I am looking for a full time nanny role, preferably week days although the odd weekend can be arranged. I'm happy, comfortable and confident looking after all ages.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

£13.50 an hour is to include covering care, travel costs and light house cleaning. Happy to discuss.
