About Me
I provide a warm, inclusive, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore and learn. My practice is guided by the EYFS and informed by the Development Matters guidance, ensuring that each child is supported to make progress across the seven areas of learning through meaningful play and interactions.
Children are encouraged to be curious, independent, and active learners. I observe and respond to their individual needs and interests, using these to shape a rich, enabling environment that supports deep learning through hands-on experiences. There is a strong focus on the prime areas: communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development, as the foundations for future learning.
Through a balance of child-led and carefully planned adult-guided activities, I support children to develop their thinking, language, creativity, and understanding of the world. Outdoor learning is embedded in our daily routine, helping children to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of wellbeing. I work in partnership with parents and carers to celebrate each child’s unique learning journey and to ensure they are supported to become happy, capable, and confident learners ready for their next stage of education.
My Experience
I have extensive experience supporting children’s learning and development in educational settings. As a teaching assistant, I worked closely with teachers to create engaging learning environments, organise lesson materials, and track children’s progress. I supported pupils with their individual needs, encouraging positive behaviour and social development in line with safeguarding standards.
Beyond formal school settings, I bring strong organisational, communication, and caregiving skills developed through customer-facing roles where patience, responsibility, and attention to detail were essential. I am committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and stimulating environments where children can thrive, learn through play, and develop independence.
I follow the principles of the EYFS 2025, promoting children’s well-being, encouraging curiosity, and supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. My approach is centred on building trusting relationships with children and families, ensuring consistency and a strong partnership with parents.

BSc Criminology
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing & Production Arts
GCSEs including English and Mathematics
